House keeping. Let's talk house!
So you've made that big decision, or you're probably just a little bit curious. Whatever it is, "legal thinking; let's talk legal" is here for you! Let's talk house!
As a first time buyer, the first question you should ask yourself is not "what type of house do I want?". It's as unfortunate as it is true, buying your first house is not buying your dream house. Let's not sugar coat it..........unless of course you're super-rich! - don't worry, if you are, "legal thinking; let's talk legal" has you covered too.
Now that that's out of the way, let's talk about the first question to be answered by any home/property buyer and the first question to be asked by every real estate agent, every vendor, and every Attorney. Are you buying with cash or mortgage? This is followed by how much can you afford to pay for your home? Or how much money do you have access to?
This largely dictates what home you'll be buying and the starting of this transaction.
After identifying this figure and identifying the home/property you want, you are in business! You must inform the vendor/real estate agent of your interest in buying the property. This is absolutely necessary to secure that 'soon to be yours' property. The next person you should speak with is *cues drum roll*.............me. You must speak to your Attorney and inform him/her that you have identified the property you want to purchase, and most importantly, you have the money/know where the money is coming from to purchase your soon to be property.
Think you've found your dream house? Interested in buying your home? Then let's talk house!
